RPa is spearheading a comprehensive renovation of the Hollywood Security Trust and Savings Bank Building, a historic landmark constructed in 1921. Designed in the Italian Renaissance Revival style by Parkinson & Parkinson, the building is designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. We are transforming the typical floor plan into a more open and creative workspace while preserving and enhancing its historic structure. New features on the basement and ground levels will attract the public and rejuvenate this once vibrant Hollywood locale. Although the exact plans for the lower levels are still being finalized, a restaurant is likely, adding value to the bustling streetscape. The upper floors will be revamped into creative office spaces. The project also includes an extensive structural retrofit.
